I had to read Sartre and Camus (but never Beauvoir, I wonder why?!) in school and never appreciated them. This has changed over the years, without ever revisiting them. This book finally showed me why.

A book on tea, tea culture, and to be honest, Taoism. Beautiful writing, and I don't even think tea.

Full of pseudoscience, cherry-picked studies, and self-promotional sales pitches. Fuck this book. Waste of time. I wouldn't even use this book as toilet paper because my shit is worth more than this. I am not linking to it, no one should be reading this.

I’m in between transitioning to a more leadership-based role, without having people directly reporting to me. This book had a whole bunch of interesting takes, and a few ideas for future blog posts.

Third book in the Ernest Cunningham series, and this one is a shorter holiday special. Still a fan, I apparently like detective books.

Harari shines when he looks back at history, but I struggle to agree with him whenever he makes predictions on the future (I had the same problem with Homo Deus). Too much stuff just feels neatly arranged to strengthen his points. Also, this book is anything but "a brief history".

A whole bunch of beautiful words that say absolutely nothing. This book is essentially a “best of” collection of “look at how fancy I can write” sentences. Apparently, a lack of plot is worth a prize nowadays.

I’m so torn on this. I loved the world-building and storytelling, but the protagonist’s whining annoyed me way too often. It’s also probably 80 pages too long. But now I’m hooked and want to explore more of this world.

This book had less of an impact on me than Sivers' other books. YMMV!

I find Arnie to be a fascinating man. I listed to this as an audiobook, narrated by Schwarzenegger himself with his famous accent. It's the only way to consume this, imo.

This book boils down to one sentence: “Invest your money and keep your emotions out of it.” It’s probably a good primer for people new to investing or Stoicism, but if you’ve read anything on either topic, you can skip this.

Generally liked this book, but I found the backstory on most characters a bit lacking.

I am a sucker for mythologies. I loved the original book, and the TV show (season 1 and 2, they fucked it all up when they fired Orlando Jones), so I loved this comic, too.
